1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how KUOCA US LLC, the company operating the kuoca brand's online store in the United States ("kuoca," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit our online store (the "Site"), make a purchase from us, or otherwise communicate with us. 2. Personal Information We Collect
Information you provide to us directly. This includes:
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number, billing address, and shipping address.
- Order information: products purchased, order value, and delivery details. Payments are processed by our payment service providers; we do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.
- Account information: login credentials and purchase history, if you create an account.
- Communications: messages you send to our customer care team, product reviews, and survey responses.
- Marketing preferences: your email or text message sign-up status.
Information we collect automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information about your device and your interaction with the Site, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, pages and products viewed, referring website, and general location. This information is collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 4).
Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from our service providers, such as payment processors (for fraud prevention), shipping carriers (delivery status), and analytics or advertising partners.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To fulfill orders: processing payment, arranging shipping, sending order and delivery confirmations, handling returns and exchanges, and providing customer support.

The Site does not respond to legacy "Do Not Track" browser signals; we honor GPC signals as described above.
5. How We Share Your Information
- Service providers who perform services on our behalf: our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment processors (including PayPal and our credit card payment providers), fulfillment centers and shipping carriers, email and text message marketing platforms, customer support tools, and analytics providers.
- Corporate affiliates: our parent company, kuocaskin co., ltd. (Republic of Korea), and other kuoca group companies, for order support, payment processing, operations, and business administration consistent with this Privacy Policy.
- Advertising partners (such as Meta and TikTok), to measure and improve our marketing. Under some US state privacy laws this may be considered "sharing" or "targeted advertising," and you may opt out as described in Section 7.
- Legal and safety recipients: when required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of kuoca, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
6. Email and Text Marketing
If you sign up for our email list, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by contacting cs@kuoca.com. If you enroll in our text message program, message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, consent is not a condition of purchase, and you can reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help at any time. Transactional messages, such as order confirmations, are sent regardless of your marketing preferences.
7. Your US Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under US state privacy laws, including the right to know or access the personal information we hold about you, to correct inaccurate information, to request deletion, to opt out of targeted advertising, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. As a courtesy, we honor these requests from all US customers regardless of state of residence, subject to legal limits and valid exceptions. To opt out of targeted advertising, use the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the Site footer, the cookie settings on the Site, or a browser opt-out preference signal such as GPC. For access, correction, or deletion requests, email cs@kuoca.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." You may also submit a request through an authorized agent, whom we may ask for proof of authorization. We may need to verify your identity, for example by confirming the email address associated with your order, before acting on a request. We will respond to verified requests within the timeframe required by applicable law, generally within 45 days. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response.
8. International Data Transfers
kuoca is part of a group whose parent company, kuocaskin co., ltd., is headquartered in the Republic of Korea, and US orders are fulfilled by our logistics partners in the United States. Your information may be processed and stored in the United States, the Republic of Korea, and other countries where our affiliates and service providers operate. We take steps to protect personal information consistent with this Privacy Policy wherever it is processed.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Purchases may only be made by adults aged 18 or older. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at cs@kuoca.com and we will delete it.
10. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill orders, maintain your account, comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites and social media platforms, such as our Instagram. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to review.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
